For evaluation of the effect of crop and chemical rotation on weed seed bank of wheat fields, a three-year experiment was conducted as split plots in the form of randomized complete blocks design with three replications in Khuzestan province. Crop rotation as the main factor (wheat-wheat-wheat, wheat-rapeseed-wheat and wheat-sugar beet-wheat), chemical rotation in sub-plots (untreated control, chemical rotation and non-chemical rotation (farmer program)). The results showed that the change in crop rotation reduced the seed population of weeds at both depths (0 to 10 and 10 to 20 cm). Also, the combination of chemical management with crop rotation significantly reduced the ratio of weed seed population per square meter. During three years of experiment, in the absence of herbicide application, the frequency of winter wild oat seed bank (Avena ludoviciana) seed bank population on soil surface, by planting rapeseed from 2.20 to 1.48 per square meter and by planting sugar beet from 2.73 to Decreased by 0.63 per square meter, while the ratio of seed bank population in non- crop rotation had an increasing trend. This trend was also evident in the total weed seed bank population.
