One of the major impediments for seed production of hybrid rice is incomplete panicle exsertion in the cytoplasmic male sterile lines. The unexserted spikelets which are left inside the flag leaf sheath remain unfertile. This research was focused on studying the related traits as well as analyzing the effect of gibberellic acid on them. Examination of the panicle, peduncle and flag leaf sheath length from two days before heading to five days after heading showed that the peduncle length is the only variable factor in this stage. Investigating peduncle elongation process in A (male sterile) and B (maintainer) lines revealed that peduncle elongation is much slower in A line following heading. Gibberellic acid role on peduncle elongation was confirmed by showing its significant effect on detached peduncles. Gibberellic acid spray had no significant effect on panicle and flag leaf sheath but increased peduncle length. The ultimate peduncle length in A line sprayed with GA3 is almost equal to B line without GA3 spray, carrying all the florets out of the flag leaf sheath. Studying the peduncle elongation pattern in eui-10, an elongated uppermost internode IR64 mutant, showed that peduncle elongation rate is much higher than IR64 such that after heading, the eventual peduncle length is almost doubled. This trait can be employed in breeding programs for hybrid rice to improve the performance of heading in male sterile cultivars.}, keywords = {Cytoplasmic male sterile line,exertion,Gibberellic acid,Oryza sativa,Panicle,Peduncle}, title_fa = {خروج ناقص خوشه برنج در لاین نر عقیم سیتوپلاسمی و اثر جیبرلیک اسید بر آن}, abstract_fa = {ارقام دورگه برنج، عملکردی بیش از بهترین ارقام خویش‌آمیخته داشته و در شرایط نامناسبی همانند شوری و خشکی کارایی بهتری دارند. یکی از موانع عمده برای دستیابی به عملکرد بالا در تولید بذر برنج دورگه، خروج ناقص خوشه برنج در لاین نر عقیم سیتوپلاسمی است. گلچه‌هایی که خارج نشده و درون غلاف برگ پرچمی باقی بمانند عقیم می‌گردند. مطالعه طول غلاف برگ پرچمی، دمگل و خوشه از دو روز پیش از ظهور خوشه تا پنج روز پس از آن روشن ساخت که تنها عامل متغیر در این دوره طول دمگل است. بررسی روند رشد دمگل بین لاین IR80151A )لاین نر عقیم( و IR80151B (لاین نگاهدارنده) در این دوره، حاکی از کندی قابل توجه رشد طولی دمگل لاین A نسبت به B پس از ظهور خوشه بود. نقش جیبرلیک اسید بر رشد طولی دمگل با معنی‌دار بودن اثر آن بر افزایش طول دمگل‌های جدا شده اثبات گردید. طول غلاف برگ پرچمی و خوشه با افشانه جیبرلیک اسید بر گیاهان در مزرعه تغییری نکرد، اما اثر آن بر طول نهایی دمگل معنی‌دار بود، به طوری که طول نهایی دمگل در لاین A با افشانه GA3 تقریباً معادل لاین B در حالت شاهد (بدون افشانه GA3) گردید. همچنین مطالعه الگوی رشد دمگل در یک جهش‌یافته IR64 با میانگرة بالایی طویل به نام eui-10 نشان داد که نرخ رشد طولی دمگل در این جهش‌یافته‌ها، بویژه پس از ظهور خوشه، بسیار بیشتر از IR64 بوده و طول نهایی دمگل آن به حدود دو برابر حد معمول می‌رسد. به نظر می‌رسد که انتقال این صفت به لاین نر عقیم می‌تواند راه حل ژنتیکی مناسبی برای رفع مشکل عدم خروج خوشه در تولید برنج دورگه باشد.}, keywords_fa = {برنج,جیبرلیک اسید,خروج خوشه,دمگل,لاین نر عقیم سیتوپلاسمی}, url = {https://ijfcs.ut.ac.ir/article_19614.html}, eprint = {https://ijfcs.ut.ac.ir/article_19614_61f41f9fca2b62af3797081d16f729df.pdf} }
